Unlike Open Source Software Groups, this group is one that avocates Free Software. Something similar to the Free Software Foundation. Being more than an ordinary internet software group, Singapore GNU Group is a socio-political group that is also pushing for a more User rights and Free Software friendly legislatures like the Swedish originated Pirates’ Party. Involvement in Singapore politics may sounds scary to you perhaps, they must be brave to do start such a movement.
