Looks alot like some bribery money, but it is not.
I just receive this nice cheque from [Singapore Polytechnic] Industrial Services Centre. See how rich our polytechnic is? I must thank School of MIT, and more specifically Mr Ho Chee Meng, for giving me money as well as to go for this trip. I guess half of my trip expenses will rely on this money.
This is my first time leaving my great fatherland, Singapore, also my first time visiting my forefather’s fatherland, China — the communist one; so hope nobody tries to assassinate me. It will be my first time flying in an aircraft, so hope nobody hijacks the plane and set all of us on fire. It is my first overseas tour, my first time working overseas, and also my first time experiencing Winter (not the nuclear one) — living in temperature below 0 degree Celsius surrounded by snow. So many first time, makes me sounds like some rural boy — ’sua ku’.
The trip will commence during the second half of my Internship, which the first half will be in Singapore; so, wait till that time then say.
