In Windows XP, or any Windows OS:
1. Try open 2 CD player software
2. Play 2 different track on a same CD, each track on 1 of the 2 CD player
3. You may hear noise of CD Drive Lens-Arm shifting up and down
4. Both your players hang, Desktop stop responding while on busy wait
OS is dumb, no proper storage device management. Did their OS engineer study Basic Operating System theory?
Just image how the OS torture your poor hard disk everyday.
